Where faiths have always met.
The Caucasus is the only place on earth where Zoroastrianism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and ancient traditions shaped each other for millennia.
Why Tbilisi
"Tbilisi is the only city on earth where Christian churches, Muslim mosques, Jewish synagogues, and a Zoroastrian fire temple have stood on the same streets for centuries — not side by side in theory, but in reality."
Museum of Faith is a permanent cultural institution rooted in one of the most extraordinary facts of history: the Caucasus is where the world's great faiths have always converged. The Georgian Orthodox Church is the guardian of this story — as the keeper of this land and its identity. Museum of Faith tells this story honestly and completely, making it the heritage of all humanity.
The Crossroads
Designed by Massimiliano & Doriana Fuksas. Completed 2016.
The Building
14,591 m² of visionary architecture completed in 2016 — never given the cultural purpose it deserves. Museum of Faith Foundation is in active negotiations to secure this extraordinary space. The threat of demolition for hotel development creates a strategic window.
